A Yahoo or hotmail email address can scare away any potential clients, but you don't want that to happen - now or in the future. If you get the web address with your name in it, you can have your email address that reflects that name. When you do this, you instantly look more professional in the eyes of those who are going to contact you for business.

Some people originally pick a free email account like Yahoo for a business email address but that is a mistake. Only the other day I went past a shop with a hotmail email address advertised outside as their business email. It looks extremely unprofessional. In the end, getting a professional business email address can only mean good things for your online career, so don't skimp on the seemingly little things.
